CAMPS Guitars are made in Porqueres, Spain. JUAN CAMPS COLL, its founder, has been making guitars since l945. His sons, JAVIER and JORDI, as well as their specialized lutist team have kept on making guitars according to the Spanish craftmanship.

These methods are the result of a many-year-long investigation whose accuracy allowed a modern technology to be incorporated in both manufacture and wood treatment, thus it has enabled to reach an instrument with the best acoustic characteristics and qualities of the Spanish guitars.

The technique, which had been used for centuries by Spanish lutists together new adjustment elements, such as the two-way regulation rod, an electronic system of measuring the wood seasoning and several quality controls, has led to a kind of CAMPS guitars with the best quality guarantee as well as stability in time.

Plastic components are not used in making these guitars and the wood has been thoroughly chosen and classified. Each guitar is acoustically checked and controlled.

The incorporation of a steel adjustable rod, placed in the middle of the neck, allows regulation and control of distorsions which can arise from the string tightness and environmental humidity changes.

The bridge saddle is composed with six different contacts, that transfer the string energy directly to the pick-up,  the results is a perfect balance equally of  strings.
